農業開発研究会の活動に大きな貢献をされてきた、私どもの友人、アニタ・マナンダールさん、飯田昌博さんが、ご逝去されました。謹んで哀悼の意を表します。

2022年5月15日逝去
ネパール、トリブファン大学卒業後、ネパールの農村における教育・福祉分野でNPO活動に従事した。和歌山県新宮市での国際交流がきっかけとなり、北海道大学に留学。ネパールの農業発展に関する国際学術研究に寄与し、その気さくな人柄、堪能な語学力と、組織に依存しない多彩な活動で、内外の多くの人々に愛されておりました。
農業開発研究会でもネパールにおけるNPO活動では、中心的な役割を果たしていただき活動に参加した会員から頼りにされる存在でした。
Dear friends of Anita,
We are greatly saddened to inform you of her passing on the fifteenth of May, two thousand and twenty two. Anita had been battling lung cancer and fought until the very end.
Anita had the most heartwarming laughs that had all of us in tears so often. She was mild tempered and a joy to be around. Throughout her life she made many friends in Nepal and in Japan, where she attained her doctorate.
We will say goodbye to Anita on Monday the sixteenth of May at Kanga (Kankeshwori Temple Kanga Ajima) at 3:00 pm and perform the last rites, where you will also be able to say goodbye.
We love you, Anita. Our sister, our mother, and our friend.
